After steadily climbing the ranks at a mid-market accounting firm in Dayton, Ohio for seven years, Amanda Wilson was chosen to support the company’s internal expansion. She was promoted to lead a recruiting program and spearhead marketing and business development initiatives - the first supervisor to expand her role in such a way. It sparked her desire to further grow in that space and led to her next challenge: Opening, running and developing the Dayton office of a boutique HR and Recruiting firm. After expanding the company by 300%, Amanda found that her passion for finance was missing. She set out to take on her next challenge and founded Brightwork, combining each of her passions: Finance, HR, Recruiting and Operations.
